York joined Rent-A-Center in 1994 as a customer account representative and distinguished himself as an outstanding performer. He ascended through the ranks, managing a store, a district, a region and then served as a divisional president with oversight for approximately 615 stores before being selected for this key position. Reporting to CEO Robert Davis, York is now charged with oversight of the company’s stores located throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
