This year’s APRO Legislative Conference brought 100 rent-to-own professionals from 24 states to Washington, D.C., for three days of advocacy, education and relationship building. Working in 18 teams, attendees completed 111 scheduled meetings with members of Congress and their staff, sharing the real-world impact of the rent-to-own industry and strengthening connections that will help shape future policy discussions.
More than 30 first-time participants, including 18 Legislative Fellows, joined experienced advocates on Capitol Hill, demonstrating the industry’s continued commitment to developing the next generation of voices for rent-to-own.
