Rent-A-Center’s AcceptanceNOW Promotes Two

AcceptanceNOW, a division of Rent-A-Center which operates rent-to-own kiosks within third-party outlets, has promoted two of its long-time employees, Chris Crocker and Andy Bittinger. Chris Crocker has been promoted to Executive Vice President over the company’s line of business. Crocker began his career at Rent-A-Center in 2005 as a District Manager. In 2009, he was promoted to the Director of Business Development where he helped launch AcceptanceNOW. “Chris’s track record of leading people and delivering strong results makes him the ideal person to lead our operations,” says Rent-A-Center’s Chief Operating Officer Joel Mussat. Andy Bittinger has been promoted to Divisional Vice President for the company. He began his career at Rent-A-Center as a store manager in 2000 and was promoted to District Manager in 2005 where he oversaw eight district managers in 80 plus locations covering Georgia and South Carolin. Bittinger will report to Crocker. “Andy brings extensive knowledge of the business model and successful experience from his years as Regional Director which will help lead AcceptanceNOW into the future,” says Crocker.
