The Legislative Conference Fellowship Program is back by popular demand! Designed to help develop future champions for the RTO industry, this program is generously sponsored by: Ashley Furniture Industries; Benefit Marketing Solutions; Rivero, Gordimer & Company P.A.; Slumba; and the following state rental dealer associations: Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Fellowship Details:
A limited number of fellowships valued at $1,000 each* will be awarded to up-and-coming employees to attend this year’s APRO Legislative Conference. Each fellowship covers the registration fee, 2 nights’ stay in the host hotel, and a transportation voucher to and from the airport. APRO will make the fellows’ hotel reservations and register them for the conference. Selected fellows will be responsible for the cost of their transportation or airfare to Washington, D.C.
Interested candidates were required to submit a short online application no later than January 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM CT, and fellows were notified by February 3, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The employee’s supervisor must confirm the employee is available to attend the event in Washington, D.C.
- Engaged and motivated employees interested in learning more about the industry
- Committed to sharing what they learn when they return home
- Has not previously attended the APRO Legislative Conference
- Must work for an APRO member company
- Agrees to complete APRO advocacy training
*Some state RDAs may provide additional funding
