Welcome to LEAP, an exciting leadership development program brought to you by APRO and TRIB Group. LEAP is designed to cultivate leadership skills within the RTO industry.
Each month, we’ll explore a new leadership topic through live Zoom sessions or in-person at Meeting of the Minds and RTO World. This program is open to both current and aspiring leaders within your company. While we encourage ongoing participation, each session is designed to stand alone, allowing you to join at any time without missing a step in your development. Plus, all sessions will be recorded and available for download, so your team can learn at their convenience.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn class credits by attending or watching the training sessions and completing a brief survey. Accumulating credits will lead to various certification levels, with potential rewards to be announced.
Topic: Building the Bench: Developing Leaders at Every Level
This session is all about building our bench before we need it. Leadership development doesn’t start when someone quits or gets promoted, it starts now. If we’re doing our job right, we should always have someone ready for the next step. We’ll talk about how to intentionally develop our teams from entry-level all the way up through management. When a manager moves up, someone should already be prepared to step in. And behind them? Another person getting ready. That’s how you build real momentum.

Erica St. Charles is a results-driven Regional Manager for Arona Home Essentials, leading the Michigan region with over 10 years of experience in the rent-to-own industry. Since beginning her career in 2014, she has built a reputation for developing strong teams, driving performance, and cultivating customer-focused cultures.
Erica became the first leader in Arona’s history to be promoted directly to Regional Manager without serving as a General Manager. In her first two years in the role, her region earned back-to-back Region of the Year awards (2024 and 2025), reflecting her commitment to accountability, communication, and team development.
A recognized voice in the industry, Erica served as a panelist for the Women’s Forum at RTO World 2025 and spoke on workplace communication at Meeting of the Minds 2026 in Las Vegas. She is passionate about empowering others and believes strong leadership begins with service, clarity, and consistency.
