Welcome to LEAP, an exciting leadership development program brought to you by APRO and TRIB Group. LEAP is designed to cultivate leadership skills within the RTO industry.
Each month, we’ll explore a new leadership topic through live Zoom sessions or in-person at Meeting of the Minds and RTO World. This program is open to both current and aspiring leaders within your company. While we encourage ongoing participation, each session is designed to stand alone, allowing you to join at any time without missing a step in your development. Plus, all sessions will be recorded and available for download, so your team can learn at their convenience.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn class credits by attending or watching the training sessions and completing a brief survey. Accumulating credits will lead to various certification levels, with potential rewards to be announced.
Topic: Ordinary IS Extraordinary
Not every great leader has a dramatic story, a defining life moment, or a highlight reel worthy of social media — and that’s actually good news. In this session we’ll explore why the people who make the biggest impact in our lives and communities are rarely the most famous or accomplished – but ordinary individuals who remain consistent, genuine, and present.
In this session, we’ll take a lighthearted but honest look at what truly makes someone influential – and why you don’t need a big moment or a perfect background to matter. Together, we’ll connect those insights to the store level and explore how small, everyday actions can create meaningful impact for teams, customers, and communities.
Because extraordinary leadership usually isn’t flashy – it’s ordinary people doing the basics well, on purpose, every day.
Speaker: Kelly Martin, SKC Enterprises Inc. dba Rent One
Kelly Martin is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Rent One and brings a wealth of experience to this position as a Regional Manager/Director for 3 years, Director of Training for 2 years, Director of Marketing for 2 years, and VP of Culture and Strategy for 5 years. Kelly earned a BSBA in Business with a concentration in Leadership and Change Management from Saint Louis University and an MBA from McKendree University in 2022. For fun, she spends time watching all 3 of her young kids play ice hockey and field hockey – Axel, Andi, and Evie.
