Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to sharpen your skills, this session will provide practical insights to help you make a difference at all levels of government.

Speakers: Michael Wall, Aaron’s, LLC and Bob Royer, Royer & Brooks LLP

Michael Wall is a Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at Aaron’s LLC. With a background in government and regulatory affairs, Wall has been instrumental in advocating for the Rent-To-Own (RTO) industry. His role includes overseeing government relations, corporate communications, corporate meetings and events, and the Aaron’s Foundation’s community investments. Wall’s passion for RTO and his commitment to federal and state advocacy are evident in his work with APRO and his leadership within Aaron’s.

Bob Royer is a prominent lobbyist with a career spanning over two decades. He has served as General Counsel to the Joint Committee on the Library of Congress and Counsel to the House Administration Committee of the United States Congress. His expertise extends to regulatory and legislative matters in the financial services industry, government-sponsored enterprises, non-federally regulated providers of non-traditional financial services, and federal election law.
