RNR Tire Express, a leader in rent-to-own custom wheels and tires, has been ranked as one of the top 500 largest franchises in the U.S. in 2017 by Franchise Times magazine. RNR is the highest-ranked rent-to-own franchise on the list—and one of only 23 companies in the automotive industry—which recognizes the brand’s growth and success, primarily fueled by RNR’s advancements, entering new markets and opening stores at record pace.
The ranking of 322 is RNR’s second-straight appearance on the magazine’s Top 200+ list. It was listed at number 340 in the 2016 edition. “Being recognized once again on Franchise Times’ Top 200+ List is great validation of the hard work of our franchise owners and innovative company advances RNR has made this past year,” says Larry Sutton, founder and president of RNR Tire Express.
There are more than 100 RNR locations in 22 states, with five new stores added in the last 60 days, all of which are in new markets for the company. “In the year ahead, we look forward to reaching additional company milestones and achievements, all of which should serve as a testament to our franchise opportunity for anyone interested in joining the RNR Tire Express team,” Sutton says.

Mike Lewis is a Premier Rental Purchase franchisee with multiple stores and currently serves as Vice President of Operations. With 33 years of experience in the rent-to-own industry, he has spent the past 20 years working closely with franchisee owners and previously spent 12 years in Corporate RTO, gaining a strong foundation in the business.
For the past five years, Mike has been sharing his knowledge by teaching managers and franchisees at the company’s Training Center.
