TRDA members and their vendor partners took to the links at Ted Rhodes Golf Course for the second annual TRDA golf tournament.With perfect weather, fun was had by all! The first Place team consisted of Brownie Calvin, Kelly McClellan, Christian Calvin and Kevin Fulkerson.
Forty-two attendees met at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel and were treated to an agenda full of great information from guest speakers including: a session moderated by APRO’ President, Gary Ferriman on how to hire and keep great employees, information from the Creditor Law Center on how to handle difficult collection issues, information about bedbugs and how to better manage our exposure to these pesky pests from Nick Robards of Robards pest control and the always well received legal update given by APRO’s General Counsel, Ed Winn III.
Trent Agin of Rent One was elected to fill a vacant one year seat on the TRDA Board of Directors and in a very special presentation, TRDA’s President Chris Bolin, on behalf of the TRDA Board of Directors, presented APRO’s Executive Director, Bill Keese with a special award in thanks and recognition for his 28 years of leadership, loyal service and dedication to the Rent to Own Industry.
“I believe this is one of the best attended and most informative TRDA meetings we have ever had. We had outstanding participation from everyone. Our members, our directors, our guest speakers and our vendor partners, several of whom finished High Point Market and came directly to our meeting,” said Chris Bolin. “It was a very fun and interesting two days.”
