APRO congratulates Geron Vail, owner of FAN Sales & Leasing LLC, dba Aaron’s, who completed the 21st Annual Cycle NC Mountain-to-Coast 2019! Vail was one of over 1000 cyclists who participated.
Cycle NC promotes North Carolina’s scenic beauty, heritage tourism, visitor attractions, historic sites, state parks, fitness, healthy lifestyles and the benefits of bicycling to individuals and the state. During the past 20 years, Cycle NC has stopped overnight in more than 100 North Carolina towns and visited over 700 North Carolina communities. Riders average cycling 60 miles per day over the course of the week on the route between Blowing Rock and Atlantic Beach.
Vail reported, “It was impressive how many volunteers show up each day to serve meals, man the rest stops, provide medical services, equipment repair, and more.” Even the North Carolina State Police had motorcycle officers riding along the route to keep everyone safe.
He expressed his gratitude to his wife, “I’m especially fortunate to have Brenda Vail making sure I’m in the right starting point each morning and picking me up each afternoon. It’s good to have a partner.”
