Ohio-based Rent-2-Own held its third annual Delivery Rodeo at the company’s warehouse on October 18 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Twenty-six delivery specialist teams attended informative workstations followed by a six-part competition for the title of Rent-2-Own’s 2017 Delivery Rodeo Champion.
The training and competition program included several informative workstations—vehicle maintenance, trivia, bed bugs and beyond, and tool ordering for a successful fourth quarter. The six-part series followed, and included: troubleshooting, a driving obstacle course, collections and accounts, professional delivery and setup of products, a dolly obstacle course and appliance hookup.
The first-place winners were Team Heath, Craig Dunn and Aaron Moore. Second place went to Team Circleville, Ricky Halloway and Jason Payne, and third place went to Team Athens, John Dulaney, Robbie Auxier and Rob Heady.
All participants received a Rent-2-Own Delivery Rodeo sweatshirt, gloves and a hat. The first-place team of Dunn and Moore received a Delivery Rodeo Championship belt, a trophy, $50 and bragging rights for the year.
