Illinois State Senator and Minority Leader Bill Brady met with APRO Board Member Gopal Reddy, Action Development Corp., dba Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership in Springfield, Illinois last week. ADC Aaron’s Office Manager, Alicia Knuth; Vice president of Operations Kevin Milliron; and Owners Gopal and Tulasi Reddy met with Senator Brady to thank him for his support on the new Rental Purchase Agreement Occupation and Use Tax bill as well as a briefing on the state of the rent-to-own industry.
“We have a very good relationship,” says Reddy. “Senator Brady supports and understands our struggles as a businessman himself.”

Reddy—an active member of the Illinois Rental Dealers Association—maintains close relationships with leaders from the Illinois House and Senate in a continuing effort to make lawmakers aware of the issues that affect the rent-to-own industry.
