Premier Rental-Purchase, Cumming Georgia’s hometown home furnishings store, hosted their first Community Days Saturday, June 24th in front of their store location.
Community Days was created by Douglas Belt, owner of the local Premier Rental-Purchase store. The event is designed to help generate awareness and raise donations for local charities. Participating charities included: Humane Society of Forsyth County, SAFFT, Food for Thought Project, Hydrocephalus Foundation, The Place of Forsyth County Inc., and 501st Georgia Garrison. Food, beverages, games and entertainment was available for the community to enjoy, have some fun and support the local charities. The event generated $1,000 in combined donations.
The local businesses came together to support the event. Giorgio’s, Los Rios, Minuteman Press, Chick-fil-A, Mr. Bubblis Car Wash, Marie’s Italian Deli, Texas Roadhouse, Stars & Strikes and Forsyth Central Football Team all pitched in to donate prizes or their services.
“We’re not only a home furnishings store. We live, work and support our community in any capacity that we can,” said Belt. “We will make Community Days an annual event. It is already scheduled for next June!”
