Speaking of Fuse 2016, check out our 11-page scrapbook of photos from APRO’s National Convention & Trade Show held in Cincinnati. For three days in May, the industry came together to network, learn, purchase, see the sights, feast on Cincy chili and have a blast.
One person who has attended the APRO show every year for the past 30 years is also profiled in May-June: Jim Harmon. Although technically not an APRO staff member, Harmon is integral to the planning and development of our annual convention, and he has a bunch of APRO convention shirts to prove it. He performs his duties with such abundant good cheer that you can’t help but love the guy!
APRO’s general counsel, Ed Winn III, reviews the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s recent report on arbitration, which the CFPB deems a “consumer gotcha.” As APRO’s expert-in-chief, Winn reports that arbitration can still be useful for the rent-to-own industry.
Finally, Phillip M. Perry talks to experts about building a great online reputation for your business. The strategies aren’t difficult to implement and can help bring more customers into your stores.
