Watershed Development’s sales management team spent the first half of its quarterly planning meeting this week at the Northern Illinois Food Bank packing more than three tons of food providing more than 5,500 meals for hungry neighbors. Watershed regularly ties its management meetings with community service.
Nearly 600,000 people each year in 13 counties rely on Northern Illinois Food Bank and its network of 800 partner food pantries and feeding programs. Northern Illinois Food Bank provides the equivalent of 50 million meals annually to hungry neighbors.
“We operate throughout northern Illinois and they support the food pantries in virtually every market we operate in,” said Watershed President, Casey Pristou. “We look for ways to give back to the community and we are grateful to Northern Illinois Food Bank for making it possible for us to do so. We have established a great partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. They do an amazing job” Pristou added.
