Rep. Darin LaHood from Springfield, IL decided to stopy by his constituent’s Aarons store on April 7th to say ‘hello’ and meet the staff. LaHood who represents Illinois’ 18th district is APRO board member’s and Aaron’s franchisee personal Congressman. LaHood dropped by unannounced during a meeting with the general managers allowing for the Congressman to meet with many of Reddy’s staff.
“He just came in to say ‘hello’,” remarks Reddy. “We talked a little politics then introduced himself to the staff. It was really nice.”
In accordance to APRO’s In-Store Legislative Conference, this meeting can be designated as the easiest meeting that has been scheduled since, apparently, Rep. LaHood scheduled it himself while driving by the store. Click here to see other photos from APRO members meeting their members of Congress at their stores.
