Joe Eason/Tom Kitchens Golf Tournament

Sponsored by Whirlpool

For the first time, APRO is offering you the chance to play on a pristine course for a fraction of the normal green fees. APRO sponsors will help offset the cost of one of the most elegant and prestigious courses in Arkansas, Chenal Country Club, offering two world-class championship courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., one of the world’s leading golf course designers.

This popular golf tournmanet is a must for those who take golf seriously, as well as those who just play for the "fun of it," so enjoy this morning outing with your fellow rental dealers and vendors.

Trophies will be awarded to the top five teams, so time to start practicing your swing!

APRO is offering a free golf clinic prior to the tournament from 8-9 a.m. featuring professional golfer Gene Bone, currently with ProGuard.

Buses will depart the Peabody at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, July 11, and the tournament will begin at 9 a.m.

The registration fee is $95 per player with $25 of every registration going to the APRO Education Scholarship Foundation.

Registration includes unlimited soft drinks and beer on the course, continental breakfast and Cook-Out Lunch Buffet.

Rental clubs are available on a limited basis with advance reservations for $50

Registration deadline is July 1, and space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Covered Bridge is a Fuzzy Zoeller- designed 18-hole course nestled on a gently rolling plain at the foot of Southern Indiana’s famous Floyds Knobs. Each hole has been laid out to emphasize the natural beauty of the landscape and panorama. The par 72 circuit features five lakes, a meandering creek and is pleasantly forested. Greens are gently contoured and trap placement is challenging but not punishing. Paved cart paths connect all tees and carts can be driven anywhere on the course’s Zoysia grass fairways. Each hole offers a choice of four separate tees matching the course to the ability level of any player.

For more information on the course, including diriving directions,
please visit the Covered Bridge Web site.
