Dave Egan Legislative Conference 2007

More than 200 rent-to-own dealers met with their U.S. senators, representatives or congressional aides April 17-18 in Washington, D.C., during the APRO Dave Egan Legislative Conference, sponsored by RentDirect Nationwide and Moneris Solutions. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana) met with rental dealers during a breakfast meeting April 18 and discussed S. 1012, the Consumer Rental-Purchase Agreement Act that she and nine original cosponsors introduced March 29.
