Live from the buying floor at the historic TRIB-AVB trade show in Dallas, RSSS General Manager Ellison Crider shares his observations on trends within the rent-to-own software industry and predictions on what it means it for customers and dealers.

Crider notes how rent-to-own customers have become more Internet savy and are becoming increasingly comfortable making payments online. Crider says that the companies that are taking advantage of this new payment method are reporting lower delinquency rates and fewer late payments.

In cases where late payments are due, online transactions collect this fee automatically when payments are made online.

In addition, Crider addresses security and cost reservations some dealers may have about committing to online transactions.

Crider has been with Corpus Christi based RSSS for 20 years and has been involved in the rent-to-own industry since 1979.
