Rent to own Audio & Podcasts: William McCrae
William McCrae is vice president for the Texas Association of Rental Agencies and president of Buzz's Lease Purchase and Sales -- a seven store rental chain with locations in Texas and Louisiana.
He's worked in the rent-to-own industry since he joined a friend's budding company in 1983 before moving to ColorTyme in 1984. He opened stores for the company through 1989. The experience taught him the lessons he would need to eventually open his own company. In this exclusive APRO podcast, recorded at TARA's 25th Anniversary Convention in Irving, McCrae shares some his insights on how the current economy could affect rent-to-own business in Texas and the impact it is having on his own business going into the busiest quarter of the year. | ||||
