Tony Farrell is the owner of PTS Financial Services, one of the largest and oldest successful independent tax service providers in the country since 1988.

PTS Financial Services provides "in-store" tax services for rent-to-own dealers and was one of 85 participating TRIB approved vendors at TRIB Group's annual convention and buying show in Dallas this week.

PTS Financial Services is a first time exhibitor this year with TRIB.

"We are really excited about the response we've received during the show," Farrell said. "One of the benefits beyond the fact dealers will have a customer in the store with a lot of discretionary income, they can anticipate making somewhere around $150 for every return they filed through PTS."

This could add up to $15,000 of alternative revenue for rent-to-own dealers in a three to four week period during the height of tax season. 90- percent of Americans file a very simple non-itemized return that is relatively simple to teach employees to file, Farrell said.
