TRIB Board re-elects Lewallen, Leach is vice president

In its final order of business Thursday morning, the TRIB Group Board of Directors wrapped up the group's 25th anniversary tradeshow and convention in Dallas by electing officers.

Re-elected TRIB President Ernie Lewallen

Current board president Ernie Lewallen, of UHR Rents, will retain his position after winning re-election by the board. Lyn Leach, of Ace Rent-to-Own, was elected vice president.

Kathy Windsor, of National TV Sales and Rental, was elected secretary and Terry Beville, of Buddy's Home Furnishings, is the board's new treasurer.

All officer positions are one-year terms.

The elections took place at the Anatole Hotel in Dallas, site of the "Silver at the Summit" buying show and convention.

Close to 500 TRIB members and associated vendors attended the show and represent approximately 180 companies. TRIB dealers bought around $15 million worth of product at the show.

The Dallas show was a landmark not only for it's commemoration of TRIB's 25-year history but for its recognition of TRIB's future as well.

The March 17-19 tradeshow marks the first time TRIB has co-located its show with strategic partner AVB Brand Source -- a 4,500 member mega buying group with 7,500 storefronts and $11 billion in buying power.
