Rent-to-own News - RTO Pro Software adds SMS texting

November 11, 2010

RTO Pro Software, one of the rent-to-own industry's leading Windows-based management system serving over 1050 stores, announces new integrated SMS texting to customers functionality.

"Store owners and managers tell us, more rental customers respond and reply to text messages which are less intrusive than phone calls," reports Ron Ganus, RTO Pro Software President.

"Now technolgy-savy dealers have an integrated way to send and receive text messages directly through RTO Pro. No cell phone or additional equipment is required," says Ganus. This is just another example of how RTO Pro Software is able to use advanced Windows technology to meet the increasing operational needs of the Rent to Own Industry."

With RTO Pro's new SMS Texting Service users have the integrated functionality to:

  • Send SMS text messages  to rental customers or any mobile phone number. Perfect for sending collection texts to delinquent accounts or promotional messages to prefered customers.
  • Send SMS text messages to delivery personel or any employees' cell phones.
  • Send form text messages to groups of current or delinquent customers.
  • Send messages directly from RTO Pro's Payment Screen, On-Screen Account Manager or new SMS Text Control Panel.
