Rent-to-own News - Rent One helps revamp Big Brothers Big Sisters Web site

May 13, 2008

Thanks to Rent One and Imagery Marketing Group, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Illinois has a new website to feature their services and provides information on becoming a “Big” or “Little” in the program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that seeks to make a difference in the lives of children by providing them with one-on-one relationships with mentors.

By providing the children of local communities with positive role models, the organization hopes to have a long-term impact on the communities it serves.

“Our agency is committed to giving back, whether we are able to provide charitable organizations with time, money, or services, it is very important to us to contribute to groups that benefit our communities,” Principal of Imagery Marketing Group Sharon Carrico said.

Rent One, a local rent-to-own company, also contributed to the organization by covering some of the costs of the site’s redesign.

“We hope that the site’s new look will help the organization to gain more attention and draw more people to donate and volunteer as members of the Big Brothers Big Sisters,” Rent One Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mark Williams said.

The new site, bbbsmentor.org, reflects the design of the national organization’s website to maintain consistency with the overall organization, while featuring photos and stories of local members of the organization.
