NEW PODCASTS: Full-O-Pep trade show wraps, company picnic begins

Store and regional mangers made their final rounds to vendor booths today at the annual Full-O-Pep/American Rental Trade Show Training Expo at the Seasons Hotel  in Nashville, Indiana.

Over 60 store and regional managers are here training on products represented by around 36 vendors which are carried in American Rental's 51 stores across four states.

More than 450 company employees, family, friends and children are expected Full-O-Pep general general manager David P. David's home later this afternoon for the ritual hog roast and company picnic bonanza where upwards of 450 employees, family, friends and children are expected.

Picnic attendees will enjoy mechanical bull rides, obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall, hot air balloon rides and a jumping house followed by live music and a climactic fireworks display. (Click here for APRO photo gallery of last year's event).

PODCASTS:

David P. David, vice president and general manager of Full-O-Pep/American Rentals, began his career with the company as a manager in 1980. He took over as general manager in 1987 when company owner Jim Hammond retired. The company's 12 stores did both retail and rent-to-own back then, but David was convinced RTO should be the company's primary focus.
