Rent-to-own News - Measuring Up expands with new office

August 26, 2008

Erie-based customer satisfaction survey company, Measuring Up, announced the opening of an expansion office, also in Erie. The expansion will accommodate recent and expected growth according to company president Tony Craig.

“This additional office provides Measuring Up the workspace environment we need to better serve our clients," Craig said. "As the economy struggles and consumers feel the pinch, low prices will certainly catch their attention, but today, more than ever, consumers want to be appreciated for spending their dollars.”

Craig and wife, Tammy -- who manages day-to-day Measuring Up operations -- are former employees of national chain RentWay, also based in Erie.

The couple credits much of their success to their years at the RentWay corporate office.

“Tony and Tammy are living proof that the greatest strength of RentWay was the character of its people," According to Bill Morgenstern, RentWay’s founder, "Integrity, hard work and a commitment to being the 'best of the best’ defines my expectations of their new venture."

Measuring Up, started in May 2006, has surveyed customers from Delaware to Hawaii, and has reported to members of the U.S. Congress the high level of customer satisfaction found within the rent-to-own industry.
