Rent-to-own News - IContain expands into new international markets, passes on savings to RTO

October 13, 2009

Profit protection has been heralded as the number one issue for companies during the economic downturn.

IContain's products are designed to save RTO owners losses and protect profits by reducing the cost of collections, unwarrented customer visits, missed opportunities to collect product and harassment lawsuits resulting from overzealous managers trying to collect money rightfully owed to the store.

Recently, IContain has been fortunate to gain significant customers traction in South Africa and China who have helped leverage the cost of the ICX device.

"We've been able to reduce our cost of goods by almost 15 percent in one order," said Todd Kleperis, president and founder of IContain.  "We'd like to pass on some of that savings to rental dealers world wide."

Devices previously started at 47.95 per device and now are starting at 42.00 and the service started out at 6.95 per month -is now 6.00 - hopefully with further sales we can drive down the costs even further.

For the last year IContain has been promoting profit protection devices to numerous markets including the RTO business.

Recently with a telecommunications deal with a wireless provider out of the United Kindgom, IContain was also able to reduce the monthly billing costs to users as well.

"Overall we're proud of the progress we've made in a burgeoning telemetric machine health maintenance industry," said Kleperis. "We are now part of the $240 billion dollar market in unattended small electronics for use in vending machines, automated pumping stations and kiosks."

IContain currently serves customers in the US, UK, South Africa, Spain and China.

IContain has a complete line of profit protection devices from RF, GSM and GPS devices that can turn on / off or locate your assets. Internal and external devices are shipping now
