Rent-to-own News - Don Cecil of Don's E-Z Pay dies

August 24, 2008

Longtime rent-to-own dealer and APRO member Don Cecil, of Don's E-Z Pay, died on August 23 surrounded by family and friends, according to his daughter, Rhonda Weatherford.

"I feel I have been very blessed to have such a great Dad and teacher," Weatherford wrote in her e-mail relaying the news. "He has provided such a wonderful service to many many people who have been his customers for over 22 years."

Headquartered in Mena, Arizona, Cecil operated four stores in Mena, Queen and Waldron, Arkansas.


Funeral arrangements are pending.

 

"Don was a longtime loyal member and a good friend," said APRO Executive Director Bill Keese. "I will always remember his quiet yet powerful ways. He will be missed by all."
