Rent-to-own Events - APRO 2010 Convention and Trade Show - Exhibitor Information

The Association of Progressive Rental Organizations—the national trade association for the rent-to-own industry—invites you to exhibit at its 2010 Convention and Trade Show, July 19-22 in Louisville, Kentucky. This is the largest, most prestigious gathering dedicated to the rent-to-own industry, one that benefits vendors as much as it does dealers. In 2010, our vendors reaped more than $18 million in business during the two-day APRO Trade Show.

At the 2010 show, attendees will once again have some exciting incentives available for placing orders during the show—and we’ll encourage them to come to Louisville to buy for their fourth-quarter inventory as well as search for new products. More than 600 buyers from America’s leading rent-to-own companies will gather in July for this once-a-year event. You’re guaranteed to see more rental dealers during the 2010 show than you could ever hope to visit on your own.

Exhibiting at the 2010 APRO Convention and Trade Show will allow you to reach rent-to-own buyers, sell your products, service your customers, make new contacts, introduce new products, promote your services and increase your company’s visibility among the largest group of rent-to-own dealers in one place. Exhibitor highlights include:

  • 13 buying show hours
  • Final attendee lists provided free of charge
  • Free company listing in the 2010 APRO Show Guide
  • Complimentary lists of all APRO member home offices for pre-show marketing
  • Year-round exposure with a free listing in the Virtual Trade Show on APRO’s Web site
  • Admittance to educational seminars held during the Convention and Trade Show
  • Admittance to social events held during the Convention and Trade Show
  • Exhibitor lunch

Don’t pass on profiting from the rent-to-own event of the year! For more information regarding exhibiting at the APRO Trade Show, contact Cindy Ferguson by e-mail or by calling 800/204-2776, ext. 107.

The Year of the Tiger
by Kristen Card

The Keep Rate Conundrum
by Ed Winn III

Calculating keep rate does not seem to improve the rent-to-own business in any discernible way—and yet this calculation, beyond all the others, has had enormous legal and political implications for rent-to-own almost since its inception.
