Rent-to-own News - Mountain Home ColorTyme celebrates grand re-opening

October 13, 2011

ColorTyme of Mountain Home recently held a special Grand Re-Opening to celebrate its move to a new and larger location at 270 E. Jackson St. The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce joined the owner, Jennifer Corrao, and store staff to commemorate the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Our Grand Re-Opening was very successful thanks to the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and everyone who came out to support us at our new location,” said Corrao. “I enjoyed meeting many local business owners and managers at the ribbon cutting, and it was nice to visit with customers and introduce our services to new friends who turned out for refreshments, prizes and pictures. The entire ColorTyme team, customers and families had a great time.”

The relocated store occupies a larger space to provide a greater mix of products including furniture, appliances, electronics and more at affordable prices. Corrao and her staff are committed to maintaining ColorTyme’s focus on customer service and offering a great rent-to-own experience in the new location.

“Our Mountain Home ColorTyme store is much larger now, so we can stock more inventory and give customers a better selection. We are also now located in the downtown core and surrounded by more businesses, making the store easy to get to and convenient for shoppers,” she said. “We invite everyone to visit us in the new store and experience the first-class service and unbeatable rent-to-own experience that ColorTyme is known for.”

ColorTyme is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

by Neil Ferguson

Who Is Your Competition?

by Bill Keese

In order to expand your customer base, you can learn a lot by observing your competitors. But first, you need to figure out just who they are. If you think your only competition is the rent-to-own store down the street, you’re not considering the bigger picture. APRO’s executive director offers a big-picture perspective.

A Review of Online Customer Complaints

by Ed Winn III

While rent-to-own companies have not cornered the market on negative reviews posted on consumer complaint websites, it’s no surprise that there are cyberspace beefs against RTO. APRO’s general counsel reviews some of them in search of a pattern and he considers appropriate response to online complaints.
