Rent-to-own News - Kansas is most improved state association

July 12, 2011

Dave Edwards presents past KRDA President Jess Fisher and association member Richard Cross with APRO's "Most Improved State Association Award".

The Kansas Rental Dealers Association Monday night earned APRO's most improved state association award at a special president's reception hosted by outgoing APRO President Robert Briley. The event was the first formal gathering of APRO's 2011 Convention and Trade Show which runs this week in Little Rock.

"The Kansas Rental Dealers Association has reached a new level under the leadership of a new dynamic leader (Shaun Rush)," said Dave Edwards, state coordinating committee chair. "They've increased their membership and taken on a new community outreach effort by supporting supporting mentorship programs for at-risk youth."

The award was accepted by KRDA past president Jess Fisher of Hometown Rental Purchase and Richard Cross of Hometown Brand Center.

The Illinois Rental Dealers Association earned the industry's top legislative award for a state association, claiming APRO's Legislative Achievement award. IRDA President Kevin Milliron and a dozen IRDA members accepted the award.
