Rent-to-own News - TRIB Group inducts 'Hall of Honor' members, hits show floor

Monday kicked off with TRIB Group's annual membership meeting in Orlando, with members showing their colors as most were sporting nice bright blue  polo sport shirts displaying the TRIB Group and Brand Source logos.

During the course of the annual meeting several recognition awards were presented.

TRIB Group members noted three new inductees into TRIB Group’s Hall of Honor which included Ken Davis of Welton USA, George Rammel of United Furniture and Mike Wood of LG Electronics.

Member Harvey Whitehead of Harvey's Neighborhood Rentals, Knoxville, Tn was presented with plaque recognizing his Twenty years of TRIB Group membership.

Member Loren Johnson of C&R Audio & Video dba All American  Rent to Own in Colorado was presented with plaque for Twenty five years of membership.

Members heard from APRO Executive Director Bill Keese and Brand Source CEO Bob Lawrence during the morning meeting.

Mike Tissot of Countryside Rentals of Ohio was presented with this years James B. Baber Purchasing Improvement Award, an award presented to the member who does the best job of supporting TRIB Group vendors and showing outstanding increase in volume.

Following presentation of the annual rebate packages to all attending members, everyone headed to the exhibit hall to spend the afternoon and on into the evening with the vendors reviewing product and placing orders.

Tuesday, TRIB Group members will have a short wrap up meeting in the morning and spend the rest of the day on the exhibit hall floor. The TRIB Convention closes that evening with a dinner and awards banquet at Fantasy of Flight where the Norman “Slats” Slatton Sr. Presidents Award will be awarded.

Also to be honored at F.O.F. will be the Lowry Shrader Peoples Choice Award which recognizes the representative of an approved vendor who best exemplifies  outstanding customer service and industry support.
