Rent-to-own News - Michael Gerwe Jr. teams with industry execs to launch Asset Protection ProductsMichael Gerwe Jr. of RES Marketing, has joined forces with other industry notables including Terry Beville, Jamie Slatton, Joe Gazzo and Salvatore Moccia, and others, to launch Asset Protection Products.
As the exclusive licensee for products developed by I-Contain, the start-up company will focus its efforts on developing and selling devices to help rent-to-own dealers protect their rental assets.
“We’ve all been in the RTO business long enough to know there is a value to knowing the location of rental assets and in some cases, even being able to disable the asset itself,” says Gerwe. “We are committed to leveraging technology to help rental dealers minimize their losses. We know the business and understand the cost constraints, and believe we have some great products in the pipeline that will be very well received in the industry.”
Asset Protection Products is currently beta-testing products for use in flat screen televisions, with an official product launch expected in the summer of 2010. For more information, call Michael Gerwe at 813/205.1608.
